Ed Jenner

My focus at r2 is dedicated to helping our clients scale their businesses by sourcing amazing talent. Having already helped to scale-up several tech start-ups from Seed stage to IPO, I enjoy the challenges that working with disruptive businesses bring. 

My vision for r2 is to become THE hiring partner of choice for FinTechs across the globe. As the founder of the business, my role is to facilitate the scaling of the company, along with upholding our core values in everything we do. 

I’m a very lucky husband and a proud Dad to two very energetic boys. We love travelling together as a family and I’m always trying (when I can) to plan our next adventure!  Side note- Man Utd supporter between 1985-2013. 

Adam Horne
As the Co-Owner of r2, I typically oversee the resourcing and job operations for the company, along with team onboarding and training. Working at r2 and being able to see our own team grow while helping FinTechs and RegTechs scale-up their operations is exciting and incredibly rewarding.

I’m a self-confessed workaholic, and I’m exceptionally passionate about what I do. My vision for r2 is to keep finding uniquely talented individuals to expand our team further, and to make sure they have the smoothest and warmest welcome to our company. 

Outside of helping our business to grow, I also have a growing young family, and persistently spend my weekends watching my beloved Man United (mostly lose).
Hanna Saunders
Head of Tech & Engineering
I am the Python Recruiter and Tech Lead here at r2.  I’m passionate about all things Python and set up Python Addicts; the largest Python Developer Community in the City. We run monthly meet ups, checkout www.pythonaddicts.co.uk and sign up for the next one! I committed to helping clients to scale-up their businesses, and I thrive off the challenge of sourcing the best developers to meet the changing needs of disruptive organisations in the FinTech space.  Outside of work, I am studying with the Open University towards a Psychology Degree. Once my work is done for the evening, I enjoy nothing more than catching up with friends or putting my feet up and relaxing.
James Somerville
Sales and Commercial Lead

I am the Sales and Commercial lead at r2. My role is to help our clients scale-up and grow their commercial teams from Entry up to Director level. 

I love the challenge that sales recruitment brings. Our clients can be demanding but that keeps us on our toes and makes it even more satisfying finding the best SAAS or Enterprise sales talent in the market. I want to become the “go to” recruiter for any sales person in the sector or client looking to hire exceptional sales talent. I really enjoy the crazy hours I seem to work, whether that’s servicing our US clients or working Singapore hours.  

If I’m not at work, you will usually find me at Stamford Bridge or at a cricket ground that could be anywhere in the country.

Jack Hammond
Risk & Compliance Lead
As the Risk and Compliance lead at r2, I engage with Senior Compliance Leaders and their teams and work to support their staffing and scale-up efforts. I have always had a keen interest in this space, and previously spent five years as an investment journalist covering a range of verticals, such as Private Equity, Venture Capital, FinTech, RegTech and Corporate Venturing. Risk and Compliance recruitment at r2 is a meticulous process. We make precision placements with individuals who will be able to adopt the company culture easily and who bring unprecedented value to the role with their skills and expertise.  Outside of work, I can usually be found on a football pitch somewhere or bouldering at my local climbing centre.
